Kathleen Bergen, M.A., LMFT

Kathleen Bergen, M.A. is a Jungian/Depth oriented, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Kathleen is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Depth Psychology providing her the unique ability to interact with dreams, symbols, active imagination, myths, and play therapy. As a Depth therapist Kathleen understands that often we become stuck in recurrent behaviors, thoughts, and feelings that affect our relationships and perpetuate personal suffering. These recurring experiences are often generational and archetypal blueprints that stem from our cultural, societal and family history.

To understand how to break free disruptive and sometimes unexamined patterns, one must be willing to take a deeper look into the unconscious/unknown parts of their life. Depth Psychology is a psychological theory and a life practice that helps patients understand the personal root system of their life.

Depth Psychology allows patients access to deeper and hidden parts of their authentic Self. As a skilled clinician, Kathleen supports patients as they learn how to interact with their suffering leading to a more balanced life. Kathleen has worked in a variety of settings, including school-based therapy, as well as in private practice.
